Hello Christine,
I am the mother of the USA representitive who attented the Miss Young International Pageant 2006 in Manila, Philippines. I am emailing you to warn you about Mr. Mark Ancheta. I don't know if you know this man very well, but let me tell you a little bit about the experience my daughter had at last years Miss Young International Pageant.
Pageant was very unorganized and the contestants were brought to dirty bug infested hotels. My daughters needs were not met and at times she was yelled at and treated very rude. Mr. Ancheta took personal items from my daughter such as her passport and the sash that she arrived in Manila with and she never did receive this back. Mr. Malone, my daughters director did not even know where Mr. Ancheta and the contestants were at when he arrived in Manila. Nobody knew where this pageant was to be held. It took him 2 days to find out were my daughter was at. Needless to say Mr. Ancheta did not inform our director anything about this pageant. When Mr. Malone finally found where the contestants were at, he asked for my daughters passport because she was leaving the Philippines the next morning and Mr. Ancheta refused to return it for hours and made several excuses about where it was at. Mr. Ancheta also blamed Mr. Malone for his pageant starting 4 hours late. This pageant was to start at 7:00pm and did not actually start until 11:00pm. I heard there were some judges missing and they were waiting for them to arrive. The contestants were waiting for hours back stage not knowing what was going on. My daughter was contacting me via cell phone this whole time and she was devestated. Several of the contestants wanted to leave at this point. My daughter did win 1st runner-up in this pageant and never received her prize money that Mr. Ancheta had promised. The prize money to the 1st runner-up was to be $3,000.00 US dollars. She was told to contact Mr. Ancheta the next morning to receive her prize money. Mr. Malone and my daughter tried several times to contact Mr. Ancheta, Cathy Cheng and Aileen Evangelista and none of these people were able to be found. I doubt if any of these girls received the prize money they were promised. How dare he use a picture of these contestants for the promotion of his next pageant when they never received their winnings. The website for this pageant was also shut down and we never knew why. Please be aware that Mr. Mark Ancheta is a very deceiving man. I would hate to see anyone else get hurt by this man! If you have any questions please feel free to email.

Philippines elite if it does not have money to do in this event so that they say lies? Philippines elite never has wanted that my delegates travel to their event. I was not going to travel to Taiwan by Philippines Elite but she would travel by Golden.But good, calm from this moment we will begin legal actions by the ridicule that have done with us. Our Venezuelan lawyers and ambassadors will make our representation. I want that you they understand that I always hope that they sent the aerial passage to me of electronic way and you commented to me that they could not do it. Then I said to them that they sent the money to me. You informed to me that long time would take if they send the money to me and I gave the information him to send the money for an account of bank in the EE.UU of one of our directors and who me towards arriving the money and that serious express. Remember that it does not have fitted for Taiwan from Venezuela and the aerial passages are expensive from here. I feel deceived. We made expenses in aerial tickets of my 07 delegates. And nobody will be responsible me for that cost. My delegates did not travel. You paid US$500 to Mark, the eceipt is still in your hand? Mark told us that no national directors had paid the franchaise fee so they need not pay for the ticket. He positive is a lier. We are really regret to cooperate with him. I suggest that you come here to join the event and ask him to remit your franchaise fee. Cathey is also a lier.You could call me any time.

Thank you for your answer! I will tell you how it was from begining. My national director get e-mail with invitation to this pageant from elitephilippines@yahoo.com, so all the time I was writing and getting e-mails from this elitephilippines@yahoo.com. At the begining I agree to participate in this pageant because organisators write that they are giving FreeRoundtrip tickets to delegates who can confirm their attendance as soon as possible provided that they will pay the $500.00 US Dollar Franchise fee. So I did everything in time and paid these 500$, and I was one of 20 delegates who get Free Roundtrip tickets. In enclosure I add Official reciept which I get after payment. Also they send me invitation letter for "Taipei mission in Latvia" for my visa. this invitation letter was written from Christine Huang. I was very excited and happy that I am going to Taiwan. Last time when I speak to Cathy Cheng was last week, when she told, that my flight tickets will be sent at the beginning of this week.<br><p> I have no such amount of money to buy ticket and fly to Taiwan now.

We are the local host for Miss Young International 2007 World Final in Taiwan. Mark now is in Taiwan. Your photo is passed by the organizer ELITE to us that's why you are in the website. You paid US$500 to Mark, the eceipt is still in your hand? Mark told us that no national directors had paid the franchaise fee so they need not pay for the ticket. He positive is a lier. Thank you for your answer! I will tell you how it was from begining. My national director get e-mail with invitation to this pageant from elitephilippines@yahoo.com, so all the time I was writing and getting e-mails from this elitephilippines@yahoo.com. At the begining I agree to participate in this pageant because organisators write that they are giving FreeRoundtrip tickets to delegates who can confirm their attendance as soon as possible provided that they will pay the $500.00 US Dollar Franchise fee. So I did everything in time and paid these 500$, and I was one of 20 delegates who get Free Roundtrip tickets. In enclosure I add Official reciept which I get after payment. Also they send me invitation letter for "Taipei mission in Latvia" for my visa. this invitation letter was written from Christine Huang. I was very excited and happy that I am going to Taiwan. Last time when I speak to Cathy Cheng was last week, when she told, that my flight tickets will be sent at the beginning of this week.<br><p> I have no such amount of money to buy ticket and fly to Taiwan now.

Until now I didn't receive anything of this bad guy.What about Miss Taiwan??The worst of this is that he never answer my emails or my phone calls. What happen too is that the money that you send to Gerson my ex-manager to pay my travel to Brasil from Taiwan( USD 1500) I didn't receive anything,Do you believe that I have to pay all the travel because he didn't give me anything of this money.=/ For this reason I will ask you if it is possible to send the money of my prize for my bank account, because I am broken after this contest.
